Why are you so upset? This is a philosophy thread so read the room a little... You should be logically sound.

In fact, statistically speaking, even if it were the case that Steven King could write faster by handwriting, your quote would be inappropriate as a broad sweeping statement. In this case, it would be, "Better for one, worse for most."
Furthermore, it doesn't matter if your mother is a librarian. In fact, it's quite possible for someone to be a librarian and be an inadept writer. Also, even if she were an okay or even good writer, it would say nothing about your ability as a writer nor further substantiate your original quote.
It's a very odd and fallacious appeal to authority which simply doesn't make any sense.
It's okay to be wrong. It's okay for Stephen King to be wrong even. What's not okay is an unwillingness to learn from counter examinations by others.
A truth that's told with ill intent beats all the lies you can invent.
