New book by Sherrilyn. Shadow Fallen: A Dream-Hunter Novel
Expected publication: April 12th 2022 by Tor Books

#1 New York Times bestselling author Sherrilyn Kenyon returns with a brand-new entry in her Dream-Hunter series

For centuries, Ariel has fought the forces of evil. Her task was to protect the souls of innocent mortals when they die. Captured by a powerful sorceress, she is transformed into a human who has no memory of her real life or calling.

And is plunked into the middle of the Norman invasion of England.

Cursed the moment he was born with a "demonic deformity," Valteri wants nothing of this earth except to depart it and will do his duty to his king until then. When a strange noblewoman is brought before him, Valteri realizes he has met her before… in his dreams. When others come for her, bringing with them preternatural predators, he is faced with a destiny he had no idea was waiting. One he wants no part of.

The truth is that Valteri isn’t just a knight of William the Conqueror. He is the son of one of the deadliest powers in existence, and if he doesn’t restore Ariel to her place, she is not the only one who will be in peril. The world itself hangs in the balance, and he is the necessary key to hold back the powers of evil. But only if he can find a way to work with the woman who stands for everything in the universe he hates.

Haven't read any Dream Hunter books yet but I know in this universe Zeus isn't a good guy unlike the Liam Neeson version or DCEU. I own all the other books in the Dark Hunter universe and from what I remember the whole Apollo plotline hasn't been resolved yet, and lots of new villains were introduced in the newest books. Not really a fan of romance books but this series is good.

On page 222 of Revolution. Either this book or Collision is the one with the meta that can turn books into superpowers. I know Collision is where I stopped, haven't touched Avalanche or Echo One yet.

Andy just posted on Twitter:

This morning: submitted the completed manuscript of Wilde/Chase 16, LORD OF THE DEAD, to my publisher.
This afternoon: signed a film deal for OPERATIVE 66.
Not a bad day, all told.

No idea what the plot for the book could be, but I'm expecting some sort of timeskip. From what I remember The Resurrection Key takes place in 2024. Maybe the characters discover a historical artifact that can bring the dead back to life, which would be a game changer in this series. Looking forward to Andy being the first of my favorite authors to have his books turned into movies or tv shows. If Hollywood had done a film adaptation of The Hunt for Atlantis in 2009 then the books would have definitely gone a whole different route. This gives me hope the Event Group or Jack West Jr will be live action. I'd even take animated adaptations of those books, I'm not picky.

After years I now see that the helmet the villain on the cover is wearing is a eagle's head. I always thought the bottom part, the mouthpiece was where the eyes were. Collision is 800+ pages long and Avalanche is a whopping 1000, so plenty to read.
