Just finished Age of Legends by James Lovegrove. Sadly this is the last in his Pantheon series. Now I'm reading Thunderhead by Neal Shusterman. Googled the Constance Verity series and it seems A. Lee Martinez is working on the 3rd and final book right now so I won't start this trilogy yet.

Just finished Thunderhead by Neal Shusterman. Now I'm reading Paradox Bound by Peter Clines and A Plague of Giants by Kevin Hearne. After that, I'll finish reading A Night Without Stars by Peter F. Hamilton. A Night Without Stars is a massive hardcover so it's not one I can bring along with two others during my weekend time with family, too heavy. Thinking about buying Great North Road by Peter F. Hamilton on the 22nd.

Right now I just started reading
The Story of B
, the spiritual sequel to
Ishmael
, both by Daniel Quinn.
Ishmael
was fantastic, and profoundly shaped my perspective on human civilization and "Taker Culture".

Alien Secrets just got this following review:

This book is so fun. It's got terrific good guys and loathsome bad guys, and bombastic fights between the two.

It has an elite fighting force taking on Nazis and evil aliens. It's like an episode of the cartoon "GI Joe," and I can't think of higher praise than that.

The hero's name is Mark Hunter, and that is awesome. In one scene, he pilots a spaceship and yells "Punch it!" That is likewise awesome.

It's obvious that author Ian Douglas had a terrific time writing this book. Now I'm going to have to read more from him, as soon as possible.

He rated it 4/5 stars so that's pretty good rating for a person who's never read Ian Douglas. I'm assuming this book has moon Nazi's as one of the villains working alongside the aliens.

I still need to rebuy the entire Saga of the Seven Suns series, I can't read the Saga of Shadows without the previous 7 books.

The 4th book in Peter Clines' Threshold universe, Terminus is arriving January 31st. Sadly only currently on Audible so I expect a paperback in 2022. The final book in the Salvation trilogy, The Saints of Salvation comes out September 15th 2020 but for the really high price of $42 (excluding tax).

January books to order/buy next Wednesday:

The Rift Coda $21.99
The James Lovegrove collection volume one $16.99
Great North Road Peter F. Hamilton $11.99

There is a volume 2 of the James Lovegrove collection, but it's currently unavailable.

David just posted on facebook:

I was recently asked if the Event Group series has ended....

Absolutely Not! Master of the World, due in June! Many, Many more stories to come, we have 99% of world history left to cover, and the Event Group will uncover the truth of it! DLG

Due in June meaning advance copies around May, and for the rest of us available around August. Andy just posted a teaser of Operative 66.

On page 286 of Paradox Bound. I'll try to finish it today so I don't have to carry a hardcover in my backpack tomorrow.
