On page 736 of Stygian. I agree with the 4.1 average rating on Goodreads for this book, half the book is taken up with stuff we've already seen in previous Dark-Hunter books and lots of chapters not even in the main character's perspective. Brought back The Abyss Beyond Dreams.

Reading is how I unwind, so I've read quite a bit recently. Bless libraries and Kindles!

In the past week or so, I finished 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami (reread), Imposters (reread) by Scott Westerfeld so I could read the next book in the series, Shatter City .

I'm now between books and not sure what I'll go with next. I have a whole lot of Murakami waiting for me but I also have acquired other odds and ends.

...I also checked out a bunch of children's books on dinosaurs for my students that have gone unread and unloved. Did you know that many dinosaurs actually had FEATHERS?! Not what I was taught in school, so now I'm curious!

Great news. Apparently The Persona/Shadow Protocol by Andy McDermott is getting a sequel on July 9th 2020 called Operative 66. Unfortunately I can't get his final destination book death to the senses as its out of stock and murder on the orient excess either as thats a kindle only book. On page 90 of Not Your Backup.
