The part of the book on bienvenido is kinda boring. Almost fantasy even though its space opera. But the void trilogy's medieval parts were actually entertaining compared to this. I'll be buying A Night Without Stars tomorrow. I'm also expecting David Golemon's Season of the Witch to be about Grigori Rasputin to continue with the evil Russian version of the Event Group theme.

So I just finished Volume 10 of the Pendragon series by D. J. McHale. The series was quite a ride for sure. Not 100% sure how I feel abou the whole Solara bit. It fits into the basis that the series was at it's core, a debate over which is better, to be free, to make your own descisions, your own mistakes, or whether it is better to let your choices be made by others.

The split planes of Solara, the original, and the dark existence created by Saint Dane, they worked for this. As I said, I'm not 100% sure about how I feel about the whole Solara thing, but I will agree that it worked well.

Now what I really liked, was what I guess would be the epilouge, if you were to classiy it as anything. At the end, we were shown Bobby reaching the end of his life, with Courtney there next to him. We end up hearing about his life and how he basically had no regrets.

And then we have Press come in, though we are never given the name itself. We know exactly who it is. We know it to be Press. He delivers to Bobby the journals he had written over the course of his fight with Saint Dane, for him to read in preperation for his return to Solara.

And the last sentence of the book ends up being the first sentence we read in Book One: Merchant of Death. "Mark, I hope you are reading this..."

This cyclistic ending that we are given, is honestly one of the best endings I have EVER read in any novel series to date. It is the perfect representation of Halla, for Halla is everthing and everyone, at any point in existence, that ever will be, and that ever was.

It's a take out menu from a Chinese restaurant. It started off a little slow in the appetizers, but it came together quite nicely in the szechuan section, which was quite spicy and intriguing, and finally ended with the side dishes, which I was pleasantly surprised with. It was a roller coaster ride from start to finish, and has proven to be the most delicious thing I have read all week.

On page 259 of The Abyss Beyond Dreams. Yeah I found the part where slvasta was just a soldier sweeping kind of boring but now its gettting good. Apparently he becomes a villain later in the book, I skipped to the very end to see whats up. A Night without stars is arriving tomorrow.
