Just picked up Center of Gravity, Singularity and Deep Space.

Please share your thoughts on it when you get around to reading it!

I'm now reading NOFX: The Hepatitis Bathtub and Other Stories. For a band that doesn't take themselves too seriously, it's probably one of the most intense autobiographies I've ever read. But what can you expect from the Punk scene in the 80s and early 90s.

Epic news. David just posted on facebook:

" Quoth Publications
We should have a pre-order page up by the end of the week. :)

And yes, there will be a hardback edition.
"

So 3 books to buy this week, cb lee's not your backup, thunderhead by neal shusterman and preorder season of the witch by david golemon on friday. The cover for season of the witch looks great. I see why he didn't post anything from april 16 till now, they were doing the final editing and the final cover for the book. Glad to see he can hold in updates until official ones like Kevin Feige who also knows not to spoil things.

Just finished Winter of the Gods now I'm reading Olympus Bound. Checked the bookstore they don't have Season of the Witch available to preorder yet maybe tomorrow. But the website does have it for kobo for $13.99, released on july 30th 2019. I don't like ebook readers so I have to wait until the physical is available to preorder. Here's the blurb of the book:

" The most secret agency inside the American government, Department 5656, otherwise known to a few in power as The Event Group, has finally encountered an entity they have no idea or plan on how to confront. With a past mystery over the strange disappearance of an old friend from its grave occupying the brilliant minds deep inside the underground desert complex, a strike against the very heart of the Group itself is underway. With roots going back to a desert battle in 2006, history has begun to repeat itself. The lives of many men and women of the Group are on the line as a mystical creature more powerful than any they have ever encountered throughout the long history of Department 5656, is determined to rid the world of these cataloguers of the planet's hidden history through a means of bloody terror most sciences believed was mere legend.

Join Colonel Jack Collins and the rest of the Event Group as they face the deadliest challenge in all of human history and fight the battle of their lives. The only question remaining is—who will be left to tell the tale!
"

A Possibility could be that the "witch" is a Gray alien with magic powers similar to the Airbenders in Empire of the Dragon that was left on Earth as a sleeper agent in case their invasion seen in "Overlord" failed which it did.

David just shared this post on facebook:

" For fans of David L. Golemon's EVENT Group series, good news! The pre-order page is now up for Season of the Witch! :)

And yes, there will be a hardback edition. And yes, there will also be a paperback edition. All three formats should be released on the same day (though it'll still be a while before the hardback and paperback pre-order page is up).

Also, there will eventually be an audiobook edition. We’re still working on narration. We’d love to get Richard Poe to do it, but keep in mind, we’re a small indie publisher. We don’t have the same resources a big New York publisher has. Please try to understand things are very different between small press and big publishers. If you love David’s books, then we hope you’ll give him your full support no matter your personal preferences.

I know David loves his fans very much. David will always strive to meet your expectations with his stories. And Quoth will always strive, within our power, to meet your expectations as well. In the end, we all love a great story and that’s what Quoth is all about.
"

~ Kent Holloway

Not sure the reason for David's parting with Thomas Dunne Books but I'm certainly checking Chapters to see if the paperback is available next week.

On page 255 of olympus bound. I'm also bringing center of gravity and singularity as my other 2 books for the weekend. I'll bring back 2-3 books from my other house's bookshelf, less if I forget to bring a bag to hold them in. I figured out that my bags can only hold up to 8kg in anything otherwise they start to rip. Of course if its too heavy I won't bring so many books, don't want to be a crouched back old man in the future.
