$50 for a single book? This has renewed my appreciation for charity shops and my local library.

I recently finished reading A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson and was incredibly underwhelmed. A lot of people hyped up this book but it missed the mark for me.

I'm currently reading Something Wicked This Way Comes by Ray Bradbury and I'm struggling to get into it. I want to love Ray Bradbury—because everyone does—but I just feel bored. Hopefully things pick up over the next few chapters.

Just ordered the spear of atlantis, superheroes anonymous, supervillains anonymous, how to save the world, herofail and the consuming fire and bought deadmen walking.

spear of atlantis is coming on sept 20
superheroes anonymous, supervillains anonymous and how to save the world are coming on feb 20
herofail is coming on february 7th.
the consuming fire is coming on october 4th.

Yes today was a great day of buying books.

I’m a fan of crime books/autobiography’s. Currently reading the book by Jaycee Lee Duggard: A stolen life... so heartbreaking. I’d definitely recommend it! It’s so remarkable how despite what happened to her she still lives life to this day with such a lovely smile. <3

Just ordered king solomon's curse it comes on sept 20, ordered war criminals #3 in the bastard legion it comes on march 29 and also bought bastard legion #1 and #2. Saw that king solomon's curse was available since today on the site and gavin smith is a skilled weaver of military science fiction. I still like Ian Douglas more though.

my order for the spear of atlantis was delayed to oct 25th. no biggie, glad its coming to begin with and not delayed another year again. And i like how its the uk cover probably because of the dispute with north american distributors.
