I cannot lie. I have learnt a lot from the audits. At the same time, I do believe that a number overreact. The idea is that there is some mega corruption / conspiracy going on. I must admit I was surprised when I found out how much traction it was getting online.
Some of it is based on inaccurate knowledge of the law (both on the auditor's part and on the police's part). When police ignore them, then they don't have a video at all basically lol.
Problem is that it can desensitise police to legitimate cases of nefarious activities. This is why I don't think it's something that really needs to be done and I believe that other methods should be used if people really care about making authorities more accountable etc.
