Yesterday was so gusty, it actually stopped you in your tracks in certain areas, my son even lost his hat (cap) and went and retrieved it from the sea
He jumped off the wharf without my knowledge (He lost his hat earlier that day, boy was I angry within 22 hours of buying it and found it again -YAY!). Then late evening the rain came hard and fast - it sounded like a real winters day even though we are in the middle of summer. This morning at 4.30am no rain, no wind, very still
