At 5am when I got up. It had been snowing. The bad thing was the snow turned to ice. It was a sheet of ice then. Very bad underfoot.

Even worse driving on it at 7.30am.

Suns out now at 11am. It's melting it. Should be all gone in next few hours.

-5 to -8 tonight. So expecting the worst to come. Comprehensive Account Security

A couple of inches of snow here, so obviously everything has ground to a halt.

People staying home from work/school, flights grounded, train schedule wrecked etc.

It's incredible - happens every year and yet we're still totally unprepared for it.
Who's the cat that won't cop out when there's danger all about?

Snow still on the ground here, right now it is -7 F with a wind chill of -25 F. Don't ever think the reason I am peaceful is because I do not know how to be violent.

I'm so glad I don't live anywhere that experiences extreme weather !

I wonder why so many Brits love to complain ceaselessly about the weather when most countries cop it far worse than we do.
