Watched the finale of S2 of
The Bad Batch
, and oh boy, was it a kicker. Right in the feels.

It's going to be a long and painful wait for S3.

Yeah, Mando's going in an interesting direction.

BUT...

After that ending, I think all the chatter that's been generated about Gideon being freed by Mandalorians is actually a distraction - we know that he had a lot of spare beskar of his own lying around after the conquest of Mandalor, because the Client paid Mando with a pile of it (with Imperial stamps on the ingots!).
