I watched episode 4 of Obi-Wan last night, absolutely brilliant.
Just like a "proper" old Star Wars film
Rescues, gunfights, loads of action

Have to admit that I liked episode 4 the least of the series so far!

Which isn't to say it's bad, just that I didn't think it was as good as the others ;)

Episode five was excellent :)

All the other spinoffs have felt like the support act, with Obi-Wan being the one I wanted to see.

I suspect a lot of it is nostalgia for the first film I saw (Ep IV) and it doesn't get more nostalgic than
Vader vs Obi-Wan while saving Leia

Been away for a week in Denmark and Sweden, due to a real-world clan meet-up, so I'm still only up to episode 4!!! :O


Edit:

Phew, now watched all the episodes released so far. Just Episode 6 to go.
Awesome to see some well-known faces in flashback... hadn't expected that!

Would like to know more about what happens to Reva in the aftermath, there's space for a potentially interesting spinoff there (and it would be one in the eye for the racists who dogpiled Moses Ingram initially).
