Flails come to mind for similar reasons to nunchucks but I would have to say the handgonne/hand cannon.
Sure, if it hits it hurts unless you're in steel plate mail because despite being a firearm it lacked the power to punch through the kind of armour late medieval knights typically wore and that's if it hit at all, the accuracy of the weapon was so bad that frankly you could close your bloody eyes and it would likely make no difference.
This is not mentioning that, lacking even a matchlock trigger, the powder had to be ignited by hand through a touch hole. Once the powder was lit, it couldn't be extinguished but there was an unpredictable delay before the gun would actually fire so you just had to point the barrel end towards your enemy and hope it would only take a second or two to fire.
Oh, and this is old blackpowder we're working with, loaded from a flask also by hand. If it gets wet, it won't ignite at all so these handgunners could well be unable to fire at all
JUST BECAUSE IT RAINED
!
I often wonder how we ended up with guns at all, I personally would have ordered the inventor back to the drawing board.
