Sky News tried to find the origins of coronavirus in China. They drove down there, only to be stopped by people and the Chinese authorities.

@Louiellen what's ur opinion on that?

Would have thought allowing freedom of the press would have been good for promoting transparency...

I still feel China is hiding something. I still feel Covid-19 is a man-made virus amongst others like HIV/Aids.

Closing the boarders was what worked for us.

What is in your favour above all is your diminutive population of about 5 mil - as opposed to UK (NB - UK not "England&quot ;) 66 mil or USA 328 mil - higher populations and increased demographic densities have a greater potential for virus spread. The greater the population = the greater the chances lockdown will be breeched.

I am glad to see you are no longer advocating 'herd immunity' madness.

I have never advocated herd immunity

Yes, your countries are large, WHO did say don't come out of lockdown to soon.

@Averia Light - all my comments here are towards others saying there country isn't doing a good job at containing the virus. I have not come out of nowhere stating anything you have said. You need to read all posts and stop picking out bits and pieces to suit your purpose.

I have also quoted WHO in some instance to back my words.

I think the nice mod made it quite clear what both of us should do.
And I swear I'm not going to let her know all the pain I have known

My My what a short memory you have - or is you can not now face what you actually said???
In your last thread on the same subject you made it perfectly clear that Herd Immunity was the way to beat this virus.

I think you have a misconception about the UK - it can in no way be described as "large" - It does however have a large population for it's size - a major factor to promote the likelihood of virus spread. The population sizes and demographic population densities were the key elements in the post not the size of the countries.

... give advice to the worlds population how to live/eat/drink healthy to get passed this pandemic without a vaccine.

The only broadcast company who get my credits are the BBC as these were the only ones who made a program about health & how to live a healthy life improving your immune system to overcome diseases generally speaking. Credits too the BBC, well deserved. :)
Btw, I do not know how the program was called as I forgot to write it down. Sorry. :)
I talked, and have talked more than once, about a total health package, mostly gathered together as
'live healthy'
but what some of you seem to defend first is 'eating habits'.
There's more to it, including sleeping and taking rest periods during a days work. etc. etc. Not going to bother you anymore. ;)

Good to hear.

Whilst the advice to
'live healthy'
is normal and sound common sense for all aspects of human wellbeing it shouldn't be advocated as the be-all of avoiding infection from and potential subsequent serious illness that any virus can cause.

The majority of deaths (in the UK) from Covid are among the elderly and those with underlying health issues (many of which are in no way the fault of the individual). Eating your veg, sleeping and taking a tea break at work won't change that.

Life is given to every individual. If & when Life is attacked by 'well-being/prosperity' and disrespectfully treated as something that is owned/managed by ourselves and nothing else, Life will strike back to restore balance.
Do some research about the past, for example when plagues did occur, and far further in History where the human population was decimated. ;)
