Covid has brought more of this type of violence and verbal abuse into supermarkets around the world. Thankfully the majority of people are well adjusted people.

Back at lvl2 as some Australians from Sydney came to my city for the weekend just gone even though one of them was sick, first thing he did after landing was go straight to a chemist for medication; he'd had a Covid test down prior to leaving Sydney, got the test result once he got back to Sydney with positive Covid results this is after he went to 16 different shops, cafés, museum, restaurants and a hotel in my city; he must have felt grand (possibly) spreading Covid around my city
I don't understand New Zealand removing two week quarantine for all Australians, just puts us all at risk.

I know i stated i wasn't going to post here anymore but....the above is a 2 sided coin;
current state of covid 19 and rules vs when we hit 100% and lifting mask rules which at 1% of world population is at 99% effectiveness of vaccines(it's not 99%) but that's 78-79million who can still get it. Plus the very small % of who can still be forced into hospitals given 2 doses.....
^it will backfire badly, i knew all this from the beginning, maybe i'm wrong, i hope i am, but the plans in order atm i'm reading paint a picture i predicted;
1. remove rules for those who have been vaccinated (they can still spread it....)
2. Lifting all rules in place at 100%....
^no point warning people on what happens after that....it's logically predictable.
i post truth and got banned from these forums.. so clearly why would i even try to help out given what i know......that ban proved people hate the truth so i stand down.
Best advice, continue to wear a mask when they lift it. Our world is so shattered with how dumb people are that are in power....never changes people will never change to save lives.
Do i want the people to win or virus to win? idk anymore, world is forfeit in my eyes....
Vaccination effort is about to be blown sky high by the elite covid 19 variant around the corner. We hit the last square on my chess board = death rate is set to increase next for failing to take this seriously. hope the $$ saved in more deaths was worth it to the government.
World is evil, those being punished aren't the problem.......Answer was help each other and put $$$ 2nd to survive it...World picked the worst outcome

So far in countries around the world that has a decent vaccine rollout and a cautioned approach to re-opening, is seeing very positive results and while we're not out of the woods yet, statistics out of the US & Canada for example so far are really good.
Something I read today out of the US stated that at this point in time, the % of breakthrough events, especially hospitalizations from those vaccinated are extremely marginal which is great news! It means the vaccines are working.
Does it mean there can't be more variants? No. Obviously that's still an ongoing risk, but it's a risk we're now much better prepared to deal with.
The more people that get vaccinated, the more coverage we have and the harder it is for the the virus to spread. Yes, you can be fully vaccinated and still contract Covid but the seriousness of catching it is severely minimized and it almost makes the risk of being hospitalized & dying close to 0% (obviously nothing is ever perfect). There are also ongoing studies yielding results that show positive signs that vaccines are also helping with transmission.
Here in Ontario, our vaccination rates are now racing ahead for both 1st and 2nd doses, so much so that we've already hit the Stage 3 vaccination goal and we're still in Stage 1 with our case numbers, hospitalizations, test case positivity all coming down which is great news.
As a side note, if you're going to resume posting here, please don't pick up where you left off that resulted in numerous warnings and I'll politely ask you do not use this thread to discuss forum bans (which aren't issued from truth telling as you claimed) as it just further disrupts this thread.

At this stage a week later no one in our community has contracted the virus. He had the Delta variant which is considered to be twice as contagious. This dude went to heaps of packed cafés over the weekend; at this stage I honestly think we are a very lucky country to not have one case spread from this man. I believe one or two of his travelling companions (could be wife or partner) have since returning to Australia have gotten a positive result for Covid.
