Why do people not just take blood thinners with the vaccine?
Its not that simple. You don't want to take blood thinner medication unless you really need to. The people taking them need careful monitering with regular blood tests. The dosages needed vary from person to person, too much and there's a danger of bleeding, too little and they have no effect. Even what you eat can affect how well the medication works, I remember one type of medication meant you couldn't eat grapefruit. I used to work in a pathology lab in a hospital and there were outpatient clinics devoted to checking people on blood thinners.

So in two weeks I'll be in Commiefornia. I mean California, and I'll be going to Disneyland, Covid rules apply and with a bunch of jumped up liberals just the thought of having to comply with mask rules stresses me to the max. The virus is here to stay therefore the masks need to go, at least that's how I feel about it.

I know Covid is a pretty political subject but as politics is prohibited on the forums I'd encourage avoiding such remarks :)

All I will say however is that if you're opting to travel to a certain place, the rules of that place should be respected. :) It's not the end of the world to have to wear a mask or face covering. On the plus side, at least you have the opportunity to go, where I am we're still shut down lol

I'm sure more places (including us here in Canada) will loosen/remove mask mandates as soon as a higher % of the population gets vaccinated :)
