I've discovered there is some financial support for people who have been asked to self to isolate through the track and trace system. It might only apply to people on low wages, I haven't read through it.

I've also seen a news report on the BBC site about training dogs to detect the distinctive smell of Covid-19. Positive reactions by the dogs are checked with a PCR test. It looks like it
could
be a way to screen people faster than at present.

Ultimately, Covid is likely here to stay and through the use of vaccines that we now have, we can decrease the risk of Covid to us.

We deal with risks every single day. When we drive a car, we run the risk of getting into a car accident but that doesn't mean we stop making & driving cars, we just make them safer to lower the risk of serious harm as much as possible.

The development of vaccines for Covid is pretty much doing the same thing and so far things are looking fairly positive so let's try and keep a positive head about it all. :)

Animals weren't meant to be farmed.
Farmed animals didn't cause Covid.
