This is now 4 people in our community with Covid. They either need to fully close the border or 3 - 4 weeks quarantine. Something has gone wrong in that hotel.

- As they left the hotel was possibly the time they picked it up???

- There breakfast tray, lunch tray or dinner tray had the virus on it??

- They could have came into contact with the carrier of the virus.

How ever the virus spread to these four people needs to be looked into it and fixed urgently.

New Zealanders are going to be very angry if we go into a whole country lockdown again, I doubt the authorities will get the same amount of compliance and can do they did the first time around.

Like other countries, numerous businesses have closed the doors for the last time, numerous people out of jobs, financial loss, unemployment way up <- depression and heartache is still within out communities from the first lock down, so lockdown a second time it's going to up all the negatives the country went through the first time. The authorities really need to get it together and keep it contained.

Oh here we go.

Legal action threatened against the UK to block imports of Covid vaccine produced abroad.

Some people cannot grasp the basic business concept of .... person A places a staged delivery order 3 months before person B and thus the supplier will deliver the earlier order to person A in line with their contract. Person B (and C, D etc) will need to wait in line for delivery availability and not expect to queue-jump.

Stamping one's feet because they are late to the table, screaming "Not fair! Not fair! I've decided now I want that thing and I'm here now and I want it. Now." seems rather .......

Were you attempting to steal their Hostess-Trolley-Commodes?

Speaking of rugby tackles ....
In the gutter press this morning some guy making a fuss because he was roughly thrown to the floor by the Police in Asda and issued a £100 fine plus earned a lifetime ban from using Asda (issued by the store themselves).

UK shopping guidance is very clear:
- Wear a face covering
- Wear it properly over nose & mouth
- Wherever possible shop alone, no family groups
etc.

So he's there with his wife and one year old who he claims was premature and has always had breathing difficulties so why the fuck is he dragging it around the supermarket during a pandemic? Wifey could have stayed at home with claimed to be very vulnerable child while he shopped, thus protecting child and adhering to 'no family groups'. I assume he knows how to put things in a trolley all on his own.

That aside, his version of events differs wildly from that of store Security and the Officers involved. Wifey only manages to whip her camera out in time to capture him being restrained but none of the prior two conversations asking him to pull his mask up.

Such wonces.

^ Yeah I don't understand some people...

Back in December I was in a BulkBarn store when this guy and his wife walks in. The store has a policy of hand sanitizing upon entry since the nature of the store is containers of various ingredients, herbs, spices etc that you 'shovel' into bags.

He didn't hand sanitize, he had a bandanna face covering not even covering his nose. Manager called him as he walked in, asked him to sanitize, at which point you could see he was annoyed, started cussing under his breath. He didn't sanitize other than take some off his wife's hands (who did sanitize correctly) which was barely worth it lol.

Then went around the store moaning about having to wear a mask and sanitize after being told off... He then got thrown out lol.

If people like that have so much of an issue, surely they can just wait in the car outside! Or stay home. No need for walking into a store you know has health policies, only to moan about them the moment you walk in... :/

That sounds obnoxious. I haven't been to a shop since...

Uh.

I can't remember, honestly. It's been at LEAST two weeks, though, since I've stepped a foot out the front door for any reason. We've been getting our groceries delivered recently, so there hasn't been much need to go outside at all.

The last time I was in a shop, probably 'bout a third of them that I saw weren't wearing masks, the other third were wearing them incorrectly. Nobody was calling them on it, either. :L

Asda is definitely Walmart.
Arrr! Only th' Devil an' I know th' where'bouts o' me treasure, an' th' one o' us who lives th' longes' should take i' all.
