Watched the first Indiana Jones last night.

What a classic. I haven't seen any of those for ages.

I didn't like the most recently installment, but I DO like that they kept Harrison Ford.

I absolutely love those first three; they're some of my favourites of all time, and probably always will be. It's indeed a shame the most recent one wasn't as good.

Got back into The Crown lately, specifically season 3. We originally loved the first two seasons, and only jumped off the bandwagon because the near-complete recast for the transition to season 3 was really jarring. Upon giving it another shot, though, it's still quite good, and the recast isn't nearly as distracting now. Looking forward to getting to season 4 and seeing what transpires there, in one of the most famous royal periods in modern memory.

Temple of Doom scared the shit out of me as a kid tbh. It was awful lmao

I can watch it now no problem though, but when I was like 5 or 6, however old I was when I first saw it, the eyeballs really got to me lmao

And that was my first brush with invasive flashbacks. That's another story tho.

It kind of amazes me the kinds of things I was allowed to watch when I was very young compared to what most kids probably watched. Not that this is the thread for those discussions anyhow lol
Arrr! Only th' Devil an' I know th' where'bouts o' me treasure, an' th' one o' us who lives th' longes' should take i' all.

I watched a few episodes of one of my guilty pleasures last night: New Girl.

I remember watching the first episode years ago and thinking "wow this is annoying, they're all just talking fast and shouting at each other"... but then I watched a couple more and it's actually really funny once you get to know all the characters.

Zooey Deschanel's "Look at me I'm QUIRKY!" persona goes a bit too far sometimes, but the show's well written and definitely good for a few laughs.

I finished off the Resident Evil movies last night and unfortunately "saving the best for last" couldn't be further from the truth.

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter
is a complete and utter mess.
They ran out of ideas a couple of films back but the main problem here is that it's almost unwatchable.

A bit of "shaky cam" and rapid edits can be effective when used properly, but this film must hold the world record for the amount of edits in a film. It's awful and migraine inducing.
Every shot is cut cut cut cut.

I can only guess that tyhe director had had enough of the franchise and wanted to make sure they wouldn't ask him to do another.

An on-and-off mixture of two of my favorite shows - "Psych" and "The Office"!

Both are comedies and are hilarious...10/10 would recommend the watches if you haven't already.

Is that the original Office or the U.S. Steve Carrell one?
I have to say I didn't much like the American version is, even though I usually find Carrell very funny.

Indeed it is the Steve Carrell/American one. It's definitely dry humor but I find it funny sometimes depending on the mood I'm in :P

Anyways I just got done watching Chapter 14 of The Mandalorian. It was INCREDIBLE!

Me too, absolutely loved it.
Every week I think "it can't get any better than this"... and then it does.

The Mandalorian is everything the last few Star Wars films should have been.

I watched another old classic: "
Blade
". Cheesy, over the top and corny, but there again it's based on a comic book. Wesley Snipes was a superb choice.
