Horror of a different kind last night as I watched Man United lose to Basaksehir.

I needed to cheer myself up so I followed that with Hot Tub Time machine (201), great film :)

Oh and I managed to fit in the first episode of The Mandalorian (season two)
Love this show and I think they've created the cutest creature ever in "Baby Yoda"
Yeah I know that due to the timeline it can't be Yoda but that's what everyone call him/her/it

SPY

Melissa McCarthy and Jason Statham stars and it's funny.

It never gets tired. i've seen if a good 10 times and like it better each time. Awesome movie.

Still haven't gotten around to watching this, but I've heard so many good things. Someday!

My partner and I got back to watching season 2 of The Boys last night. I was worried about returning to it after a bit of a hiatus, but this show is just so good, and really sucks you right back in with no issue. It's probably one of my favourite shows to date, and both of us are loving how crazy, messed up, and well-written it is. Brilliant stuff, and would recommend it SO MUCH to anyone who even remotely thinks they might like it. For those that do try it, be sure to give it more than one episode; it gets astronomically better immediately after the pilot episode.

I have to admit I was put off watching SPY as I don't like Jason Statham. Or Jude Law. :P
The rest of the cast look good though so maybe I'll try to get past my Stath allergy.

I watched an odd (but really good) one last night:
"W lesie dzis nie zasnie nikt" (Nobody Sleeps In The Woods Tonight)

A Polish horror with a great premise - a group of teenagers are sent off to a "no technology" camp to try to overcome their addiction to smartphones, computers, tablets etc.

With no way to contact anyone for help you can probably guess that it goes wrong for them rather quickly.

I started watching Truth Seekers. Not sure if I like it yet so I'll give it another couple of episodes before deciding.
I also watched a film called Black Box. It has an interesting plot with a "mad scientist" doctor experimenting with restoring memories.

Truth Seekers is a slow starter but definitely worth sticking with ;)

I watched the second episode of The Mandalorian last night, season two is turning out to be better than S1, really really good.

We watched the last two Night at the Museum films.

Honestly, was not disappointed. That series is underrated af. They're all consistent, keep the original cast, and they've all got decent stories IMO, though I mostly just like that they keep the silly themes throughout. They're great.
