Being steeped in misery and self-pity last night, I got up at 3am and put the telly on, chose the first thing that popped onto the screen. A film called "Venom".

Not my usual fare, but I was too wretched to care so watched it anyway.

It was quite entertaining in an awful, cheesy sort of way.

Been itching to watch this since I first heard of it! Gotta get on that...

Lately my partner and I have been watching the old seasons of
Vikings
(2013-). I'm already familiar with the show but never saw the first season or so, which made watching it fun for me, and she's gotten SUPER into it, which makes it all the more entertaining, even for episodes I've seen before. Wasn't sure she'd enjoy it, but here we are, and now I can't get her to watch anything else!

Ahh, I tried Vikings and really didn't take to it. :( Maybe I should give it another go.

I watched Lovecraft Country episode two as well, TOO MUCH GOING ON!
I'll stick with it but honestly I was exhausted trying to keep track of what was happening.
Wait. What? WHAT!?

I fancy a comedy tonight but I'm exceedingly picky about comedy films, there are probably a dozen that I find genuinely hilarious. I could always watch Spinal Tap for the zillionth time.
Who's the cat that won't cop out when there's danger all about?

I thought the early seasons were the best, tbh. I kind of stopped watching about halfway through season 4.
