I don't see the appeal with My Neighbour Totoro. The characters are obnoxious and the plot never amounts to anything. The age of chivalry is gone; that of sophisters, economists, and calculators has succeeded, and the glory of Europe is extinguished forever.

After watching it I found a gaff/blooper.

Just a few mins in you will see a shot of the harbour and a sun rise.

The boats are going backwards and the sun should be setting. :P

I was surprised how good it was, sequels a long time after the originals rarely get it right but this definitely did.
