Whiskey Tango Foxtrot
(2016)
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3553442

You wouldn't think that a journalist covering the war in Afghanistan would make a good comedy, but it does. It's not an out-and-out belly laugh comedy and there's definitely a darker side to it as well but it's a great watch.

Loads of well-known faces too - Tina Fey, Margot Robbie, Martin Freeman, Alfred Molina and Billy Bob Thornton.

So my wife and I are big Stranger Things fans and wanted to watch something like that show on Netflix one night. So we looked up similar shows like Stranger Things at the bottom and a program called "Everything Sucks," came up.

To be honest, this is probably one of the funniest, silliest shows I have ever watched about a bunch of nerdy kids trying to "make it" in high school.

Lolol my wife and I laughed pretty damn hard throughout all the episodes because we bingewatched it all in one night.

If anyone is interested in watching it, imma post the link down below of the trailer. Enjoy! :D

The Last Duel
(2021 Disney +)

The latest film from one of my favourite directors, Ridley Scott.
Based on the true story of France's last trial by combat in the Middle Ages, its a story about betrayal, rivalry and revenge.

All star cast including Jodie Comer, Matt Damon, Adam driver and Ben Affleck.

It's really well made with the story being told from three different viewpoints and leaves it up to the viewer to decide the real truth.

It's a bit long at 2 and a half hours, but there's plenty of intrigue and action to keep you interested... and being a Ridley film it looks superb.

Last night I watched
Inglourious Basterds
.

Tarantino's take on a WW2 movie with loads of his usual excellent snappy dialog and oddball characters.

I watched this a couple nights ago. I liked the way it was done, I talk about the views according to each character. At some points I thought the movie didn't hold much of the viewers' attention. In general I think it would give a 6.5/10.

Today I watched "A Boy Called Christmas". It's been a while since I've seen a good Christmas movie, I really had fun watching it, I recommend it.
