I watched the first two episodes of the new season of
Lost In Space.

Loads of action right from the start and some interesting developments to the story.

I watched
The Power of the Dog (2021)

Its set in 1925 supposedly in the wild west but was shot entirely in New Zealand and directed by Jane Campion.

Its more of a drama than a western and its well worth watching.

After reading your post I watched the first episode of the first season of Lost in Space.

It looks like it has potential. The original series was more of a comedy.

Dr Smith is a woman after stealing someones identity

^I found that interesting.

Unfortunately the ending of lost in space has too many unanswered questions regarding the creators of the robots? Why create them in the first place? They should of delved more into this
“We’re all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one”

I finished Lost In Space last night and although the last episode had way too many things going on, it wrapped it up nicely.

In answer to the two hidden points made above:
@Kiwi
Yep it was a curve ball making dr Smith a female but it kinda worked. I've always found Parker Posey a bit annoying but that just made her more suitable for the role.

@Emotions
I'd have liked to have seen more about the Robots creation as well.
We got a glimpse of it but it's interesting to explore more
.

The Last Duel (2021)

This is an awesome movie with Matt Damon set in France in the 1300's.

Highly recommended.

Saw that recently a bit slow but really good... apart from Matt Damon's English accent.
