I watched a really interesting documentary last night, about the legendary disco "Studio 54" in New York - really interesting stuff. I'd heard of the club (it's world famous) but didn't know anything about some of the dodgy dealings going on.

Has anyone watched Survivors.

Its a 1975-1977 BBC TV series.

A post-apocalyptic drama, its about survivors of a plague pandemic that killed off 99.9998% of the worlds population.

There were 3 seasons and I am watching episode 10 of the third season, there are 12 episodes in the final season.

Its very good.

I vaguely remember watching Survivors when it first came out. Yes, I'm that old. :P

I'm rewatching Merlin. Its on a Freeview channel weekdays at 8pm. Its not the traditional legend of Merlin and King Arthur but its very enjoyable. Richard Wilson ( he plays Victor Meldrew in One Foot in the Grave ) is very good as Gaius, the mentor and guardian of a young Merlin.

This sounds interesting. What channel is it on?

I watched "My Holo Love." My heart melted while watching this K-drama.

I wanna watch this! Same question - what channel?

I watched the beginning of the second season of What We Do In The Shadows. Most excellent so far. It's being shown on FX which if you don't get I think Hulu also shows it.

I started rewatching Game of Thrones season 8.

Like many people, I was a bit disappointed with how it ended, but the lead up to the finale has some really good scenes. I watched episodes 1 & 2 last night, and ep 1 in particular is excellent.

That opening scene with everyone heading to Winterfell and the dragons flying over head really sets the scene, and Jon's reunion with Arya is so moving.

Episode two is a bit slower but sets up the night before the big battle, hints at Daenerys starting to become another mad Targeryan and Jon learns about his real heritage.

GOT8, I think I need to rewatch it too... In fact I'll probably rewatch the whole thing! :P

There's probably a ton of stuff I missed throughout the seasons.

I know you weren't too happy with the ending but I was pretty happy with it... I guess it's one downside to having such a large amount of hype, sets the bar really high :P

I think that's the problem, the bar was so high that whatever they did wouldn't live up to expectations. It all felt a bit rushed, like they could have done with another couple of episodes.

What was unforgivable to me though was
the way Bran was made Ruler of The Seven Kingdoms. It was so fast and anticlimactic.

As a spectacle though season 8 takes some beating. There's a shot of the dragons flying up through the clouds in a moonlit sky that's absolutely breathtaking.

There were also a lot of complaints about some of the episodes being too dark/foggy indistinguishable. If you get the chance to watch it in 4K/HDR there's a world of difference.
