A friend of mine suggested I watch Lucifer and I am hooked! I have already finished all the seasons currently available at Netflix. I cannot wait to watch the second part of season 5 that becomes available on May 28th, 2021! If you have not seen this show, I undoubtedly recommend it!

I actually watched a bit of that a long while ago. Not sure why I stopped, I might go and revisit that and see how it goes.

Over night I started watching a Australian/Kiwi series about a bogan family, I'll have to look up the name. I recognize a few of the actors. It just awfully loud, not sure if that's just how I'm feeling or the program is loud. I will watch some more and see how I go... It's called Upper Middle Bogan.

My youngest son is enjoying Zoo, it's not my cuppa tea. He really enjoys it, so sometimes I'm sitting with him when it's on. <- this same son watched the movie Ted at his friends house :O I said that was not appropriate for you; after a bit of talking I found out his friends way older teen brother was watching it, parents not home...

Hopefully I get to watch it Tuffty; it's not on Netflix - edit: Liam Nelson and Chris Hemsworth are in it :D

The Possession of Hannah Grace.

You can probably work out what it's about from the title :P

A pretty decent possession/horror film.

After that I watched a few episodes of the new (second season) of
Love, Death and Robots
.
I really liked the first series but this one is (imo) nowhere near as good... still got a couple more episodes to go though.

Last night I finished off the remaining episodes of
Love, Death and Robots
(season 2).

A huge disappointment :(
The first series was excellent, this one is a let down. Some of the animation is excellent again, but the stories really aren't very engaging at all.

I watched quite a bit over the weekend:

Cats - enjoyed.
The thinning 1 & 2 - enjoyed both.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story - it was watchable, I enjoyed it but nowhere near in the league of the original trilogy which blew me away, especially the very first one. For me I didn't get to love the characters as you do in the first, there's no humour what's so ever in this one, when the first trilogy was full of humour.
Men In Black: International - enjoyed it, not in the league of the first one.

Ahhhh, Rogue One is one of my favourites! I love the gritty, darker tone that it has.

I watched the first couple of episodes of
Gangs of London
last night.
It's violent. Very violent.

Ace Ventura 2!

I noticed that as watching old Jim Carrey films as an adult, I feel like all of his characters are absolute dicks. Liar Liar, Ace Ventura, The Mask, it's like... he's really good at playing an insufferable asshole. I LOVED these films as a kid, and now as an adult it's like omg I would HATE that guy if I were any of the other characters lol

I do like the films still, it's just something I noticed about them lol

I have to agree. He's good at what he does though. The kids and I watched the first one the other week, didn't realize there was two. We also watched Dumber and Dumber the other week too. I enjoyed the one where he fills in love with that quirky woman on a moped bike who took photos while running, such a good movie.

Guess what I finally got to watch last night ... Game of Thrones :D and I absolutely love it, so pleased to be watching it. I'm on season one, episode two :D

Yay! Another convert! :D
If you like it after just two episodes you're in for a treat as it picks up speed.
I look forward to seeing what you think.

Netflix and Amazon seem to have a lot of " wrongly convicted person fights to clear their name " films at the moment, and I watched a really good one last night:
Crown Heights
(2017)
Yet another movie that leaves you shaking your head about a terrible miscarriage of justice.
