^ Same.

Spookily, I was reading a post on the RSOF this morning where a serial bullshitter was claiming to be something and it made me actually guffaw. So obviously a falsehood (one of very many, actually but hey-ho).

I also admire people who can always see their glass as half full, never half empty. I try to maintain this upbeat mindframe myself but sometimes it's hard; I guess I'm just not a natural optimist.

Integrity. That's something a lot of people seem to be missing.

Half-full kind of person doesn't see the problem in the horizon and gets caught off guard.
Half-empty kind of person has the issue solved before it even arises.

I was just about to post 'optimism".
It really is an admirable trait and what's more it can be infectious.

I've always been fond of people who will say things how they are without sugar coating it. If I messed up, tell me I messed up. I feel more respected when you assume I can handle my own problems as opposed to being coddled. If I made a mistake, don't tell me it will be ok. Tell I made the mistake and give me a chance to fix it.

Which brings me to point two. I admire people who can admit when they're wrong; even more so when they try to make up for whatever mistake they made. Too many people refuse to admit when they were wrong and/or accept responsibility for their actions.
Just trust me.
