I only put it on the local news long enough to watch the weather. Once the weather is done with, I change it Don't ever think the reason I am peaceful is because I do not know how to be violent.

to me what makes me upset is that no matter which side you are on you are still getting filled with BS,,, and it also amazes me how little people pay attention,, ask the average person what is the most important thing going on they have no clue or if they do watch the news they got such a one sided slanted version of the actual truth to whats going on,,,

i am no super hero i have fallen to this trickery,,

but ,,,,

i do try to watch both sides to look for common items and then and only then decide those common events are the truth,

for example if a story told by both sides say a red ball bounced a crossed the road and both sides are different about every other detail in the story... then i feel confident that

1) a ball bounced
2) there was a road,,,

all other info is a crap show and i have to use my brain to figure out the rest,,,


what truly blows my mind is how much money each side is trying to cover up that they are making yet they ( at the same moment ) also try to show the other side is breaking the law to make that money,

its a constant dont look at me look at them they are the bad guy moments and it makes me want to puke

edited to add,,,

as i drove to the store i realized that this thread is on dangerous grounds,,

the political battle grounds now include control over news companies

because the news company's have been taken over by the political groups,,, and are basically now mouth pieces for them,,, we are taking politics,

and Joel, i hope you don't lock it .. i think its a great subject but the logic say this is a political discussion ( at least in the USA it is )

^ The new york times made a positive report of J.K. Rowling and Transgender activist groups made a bunch of death threats to reporters. I agree that media outlets have been taken over by activist groups sadly. The racism bigotry transphobia stories right now have major credibility issues. .

Yeah so i tried watching other news 'outlets', knowing what i know by not biased outlets but past life memories, these outlets are brainwashed and lied to.

^can't say why tho, it would get so political.

Fox News - reports things that main stream news silences.

Wion is overall good.

Sky News is funny as they laugh at the USA.

RT just feels like i'm 'at home' with people there, we all share the same views.(obviously a past life connection)

I don't honestly trust any News outlet in Canada where i live.....I always went on rumble to view how much my media lies. Then funny thing happens, main stream media did a massive "don't let your kids on rumble, beware of the influence" <---More BS lies. If i want to watch on rumble how the UN beat people in Ottawa and calls it 'photoshoped'...yet it's video and 5 different angles from all different people, Great job you all edited it the same :P

Main stream news outlets could be 'seized and all assets stripped from them' i would only laugh at what they choose to censor and not report on. I believe highly in 'harsh' punishments, makes others to not 'repeat' the offence.

^i think of the people of Ohio, Palestine, where was the media to protect the people? right watching harmless balloons being shot down....that's fine, there busy, they will report on the dangerous event in a few days....nope....

They think she is bad, I have document that will wake the world up on 'wokism'. I'm not of transphobia, i'm of calling someone not born as that as this is 'fraud' and 'deception' and goes against peoples sexual orientation.

look at it this way, if you were a lesbian that was lesbian because of violent men, wouldn't you be highly insulted and scared your new GF is really a man that can claim to be a woman... "we are creating a massive danger to woman"

I'll sometimes read 'The Week', but besides that, I just headline-read (from multiple sources) these days. That way I get a quick idea of what's been going on, plus I can see what 'spin' each side (politically leaning) has on information (useful when you know it's probably going to pop up in conversation at lunch or whatever). It's interesting to read news from 'the other side' that way you're not plopping yourself in a stinky echo chamber. Gotta keep that mind open! Bob says:

They can be, aye, but if you use multiple sources 'they can't all be wrong'. I don't have time to read everything, so it's just a quick and easy way to see what 'spin' outlets are giving their audience. Useful in conversation, if you know what side a person is 'leaning'. It's a context thing. You can do it with books too (when skimming), rent out 6x books on the same topic and find the common denominators. If they're all commenting on the same thing then it's probably important. So much fluff / filler these days, I can't be bothered reading everything. Bob says:
