Thats right Computer mice don't float.

I just sneezed and knocked my mouse off my desk right into the dogs full water dish. It sank in seconds before I could grab it.

Dried it out best I can and changed the battery just incase.

So far it's recovering. I just hope it's ok after a dryout as I like this mouse. My hands so used to it's feel and movement. Would hate using a new mouse after 6-7 years of using this 1.

News later incase it dies. :P

Moral of the story is. Careful how you sneeze and where your elbow is at the time and where the dogs water dish is. ;)

Nope.

Once you go wireless you never go back.

Sad news though the mouse died. Lost left click.

R.I.P my fav mouse. I'll miss it a lot.

Time to whip out a new wireless mouse. I've a few spare lol.

My new mouse. It's not bad but not as good as my old 1. :(

My mouse has small metal weights inside that you can take out so you can adjust its weight.

The last mouse I had before my current one was a convertible one, works both with and without a tail. Sure the free movement is nice, but it doesn't really make much of a difference to me.

Ha oh no oh no Tuffty... that reminds me of the mouse for my PC just had its final breath 4 days ago, now to find a new one.... the model I like is Logitech M-U0007 wired mouse. Works well. I had wireless mice 11 years ago but it did not really feel right. :O

If I buy a new one that will be my 4th in just a few years. They don't seem to age well. The one that died off 4 days ago I had trouble with every few months where it would completely desync and only move horizontally or diagonally. Had to knock it onto the table to fix it. :P
may have to find a different model....

I appreciate that wireless mice can be more useful, however I find I like not having to keep track of batteries lol

I've found 3 wireless mice to try out. I'll spend a few days with each 1 and make the call.

Not liking this new 1 though. Feels totally different.

Won't get me going back to a cabled mouse. Not after all these years of wireless. Battries not an issue as I have loads in my draw for all my remotes and gadgets.

That's fair.

I'm not accustomed to being in a position to be able to afford batteries so that's why I tend to gravitate towards things that don't need much upkeep lol

It's dumb but it's an observation that I've only just realized like... as of replying to this thread. LOL
