I just sneezed and knocked my mouse off my desk right into the dogs full water dish. It sank in seconds before I could grab it.

Dried it out best I can and changed the battery just incase.

So far it's recovering. I just hope it's ok after a dryout as I like this mouse. My hands so used to it's feel and movement. Would hate using a new mouse after 6-7 years of using this 1.

News later incase it dies. :P

Moral of the story is. Careful how you sneeze and where your elbow is at the time and where the dogs water dish is. ;)

I have a razer naga molten edition!

my mouse has been through a lot chewed on by my dog dropped countless times by my cats left click button popping off from the aforementioned cats knocking it off im surprised its made it this far tbh most of my scroll wheel is ripped off from the dog chewing on it and is still kicking which is funny cause its a cheap wireless mouse but its a trooper (this is where i would put my laughing emoji IF I HAD ONE)

I still have a wired mouse on my pc. It works well.

Staying on topic, I had a mouse come into my apartment. I dont know how it did it but it came in under the door. There is only a small gap. I didn't kill it I let it go.

Still got a Roller Ball mouse hanging round someplace.

These mice needed regular cleaning, The little rubber ball would pick up every bit of crap within 20 metres. You need to take the ball out and clean in alcohol every now and again. The 2 little roller bearings the ball acted on became encrusted with, what I can only assume was, the crap mentioned before together with a sludge of human grease that had become hardened to a cement like strength.
The only time I can safely say 'I'm glad the ball are gone'.
