I though about it lastnight to spray my old water logged mouse which should be dry now with WD40. That fixes everything lol. So with luck it will fix my mouse.
If by some miracle your mouse survives.... don't be in a rush to go bossing again.
Test it out for a while. It might work, but it might randomly glitch up at some point.
If it was switched on when it went into the water, I'd be extremely surprised if it will work again. If it was switched off at the time it fell into the water, I'd still be surprised if it works again but make sure it's 100% dry and then wait another week before switching it on.
Water and electricity fries the board.
Rice won't help.... if u sit rice next to a glass of water, it doesn't drink the water....
Ya have to wait for the water to evaporate.... it won't evaporate any slower wrapped in a towel than in a bucket of rice.
if the mouse was on, chances are the board is fried. If the mouse was off, chances are the board held some charge and fried the board.
Just make sure it's dry before u try and turn it on again.
Don't bother with rice. Wrap on towel, sit on next to window, open window. Forget about it and leave it forever because it's already broken. Get a mouse a tail next time.
if it was switched on, if when u took it out of the water and it wasn't still on, if u didn't switch it off, its broken. The End.

The mouse wheel came out of its cradle. I was able to pry the top off to put the wheel back where it belongs. Are you able to take yours apart? That might help to expedite evaporation.
