I thought Episode 10 was....decent.

People are a resource. - Negan
Quite frankly, he has a very valid point.
It looks like the walkers outnumber the humans....so if the humans want to have a future, they
really
do need to stop killing each other.
I know some of them think they have 'reasons', but they're little more than weak excuses.

On the other hand, Negan's 'methods' are not working. If they were, various people/communities might not have tried to run away/fight back.

Clearly,
compromise
is the key to moving foward.

Carl got that.
I thought Rick really understood as well.
It looks like he didn't...or he's just too upset :@

*Sighs*
Honestly, the writing for Rick's character is what annoys me most about this show.

Otherwise, I thought the murder/compromise/mercy aspect was well told from the perspectives of the other characters in this episode.

Rick's character has become one of the least interesting recently.
He used to be a natural leader but now it seems like he doesn't even believe in himself.

I know he's had some really bad times but he's just depressing to watch.
I can't wait for
the final showdown between Rick and Negan
so we can move on to a new storyline.
Who's the cat that won't cop out when there's danger all about?

I think Episode 11 felt....contrived :|

It looks like the entire gang of Survivors
conveniently
made it to Hilltop. Including Siddiq, who
conveniently
has some medical experience.
Well, no need for Dr. Carson to live then. And Gabriel
conveniently
ends up back at a Saviour outpost with Eugene.

Dwight
conveniently
gets separated from the rest of the Survivors, just in time to provide some mis-direction to a Saviour patrol.
He then
conveniently
ends up back at Sanctuary, just in time to hear Negan's plans for dealing with the Survivors.
I expect Dwight may end up telling one of the Survivors what those plans are.

The only positive note from this whole episode is that it looks like the War will finish this season.
*Phew!* :O

Rating? Ehhh....I honestly can't decide.
Maybe I'll just take a cue from this episode and go with...."can't be bothered" :P

Welcome Tox....I hope your comfy chair has a seat-belt (the WD rollercoaster gets a bit bumpy at times) :P

Wheeee!

I think Episode 12 is the first one (in the back half of the season) that I have actually properly liked.

It's nice to see Michonne honoring the Carl's wishes, and Maggie seems to be coming around as well.

Rick is still refusing to get with the program, and clearly those impulsive actions are going to have nasty consequences. :@

I sort of feel sorry for Dwight. I think he really did want to try to warn the Survivors of the new tactics Negan came up with, but he just didn't get a chance to get away. Now he's stuck with Crazy Murderous Simon.

Can barely wait for the next episode.

I'm bored with the Saviors too.

Well, Episode 13....went by really quick.
Wasn't really bad....but wasn't the best either.

We got some fighting....but it wasn't really a much of a war.
More of a stalemate, if I'm being honest.
No progress in the war, or the overall plot.

Despite all the action... :@

Maybe they could've fleshed out the episode a bit more....we haven't seen what's happening at Oceanside since Episode 10....perhaps they could've put a little bit of that in instead of dragging it out longer than necessary.
