Hard to believe its been... what? Six months? There are almost exactly forty six minutes left until the show starts in my timezone. Can't wait to see how the prison and group has changed since Season 3. Judging by the trailer a lot of time has passed and based on what it shows of the prison, a lot of things are now different. Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.

I'm wondering if the kid's and the pig's conditions are related to each other, and if it has something to do with the deer that the kid was thanking Daryl for. Maybe contamination of meat, and in the upcoming episodes, an outbreak is going to occur?

I don't know, those were my thoughts once the episode ended.

I don't think it was contamination of meat: I seriously doubt Patrick was the only one who ate the deer. But we already know that everyone is infected, maybe their immune systems are just weakening, or the virus has grown strong enough that you can now get it as if it was a cold. As for the pig, maybe the virus has developed to the point where it now affects animals? Maybe it doesn't turn them, but it does kill them.

One of the guys on the Talking Dead did say the sick pig and Patrick's death were connected. Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.
