He probably wasn't the only one to eat the deer meat - that's why I suggested there might be an outbreak in upcoming episodes, like maybe Patrick was just the first. I missed the last half of the Talking Dead, so it's nice to know that the two sicknesses are connected. I heard the part where they said it might be like catching a cold, and that sounds terrifying O_o .

Also Year, I just re-read your first post and saw that you asked for us to wait a day to discuss a new episode. Sorry, I forgot that was there and anyway, I was just so excited D:

I am so glad the new season has began, cannot wait to see how it pans out. I usually find any zombie-show/movie corny and annoying, but I can proudly say this one I'm more than happy to watch and it doesn't cease to entertain me :)

Really loved how they started the new season, and straight off the bat cliff-hanger, can't wait for the next episode :)

I've only just discovered The Walking Dead recently, it's one of those that I meant to watch but never got round to it.

Making up for it now, watched seasons 1 & 2, halfway through season 3 :)
Who's the cat that won't cop out when there's danger all about?

It's fine I really only wanted character deaths to be discussed the day after or so, like huge spoilers. Theories or details that are not major can be discussed whenever. It's all good!

My first thought was that the virus that made them walkers became airborne but then I remembered the pig and the deer. It was funny finding out Patrick, is the voice of Phineas in Phineas and Ferb!

We need more main characters deaths. Seriously, its like every single person from the Season one and two group is untouchable, but whenever they find someone in the woods or let someone new in, that person dies within the next few episodes.

Take Zack (Beth's boyfriend) and Patrick for example. Its clear they wanted us to like Zack, but then they killed him half an episode in. All I was really thinking was "What's Beth going to do now?". Main character deaths are the only ones we can actually feel sad about.

I've actually started watching it. My boyfriend pulled it up on Netflix...

Blah. I don't really care for zombie-anythings but it isn't actually that bad. Like, I'm not going to go call crazy fangirl over it but it ain't bad.

'Bout all I got to say here. :p

I'm only somewhere in the middle of season 2 though...
Arrr! Only th' Devil an' I know th' where'bouts o' me treasure, an' th' one o' us who lives th' longes' should take i' all.

Except the writers haven't actually made the audience care about any of the characters.

I think the first episode was fairly solid at laying things out in preparation for the oncoming season, hopefully it kicks it up a notch in the coming weeks. There are some intriguing subplots with Carol teaching the kids about knives behind Ricks back and the whole council concept. Hopefully these evolve in interesting ways.

Then why does Daryl have such a massive fan base? Why is Tyreese adored by the comic book fans? Why is Glenn so popular that they haven't killed him off like they did in the comics? Why did they go to so much work to redeem Merle back in Season 3? Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.

Watched the most recent episode. Its interesting to hear that viruses other than the zombie disease are starting to cause serious problem. The organized attacks by the Walkers on the prison I actually find quite interesting, and I think the kid who named the walker Nick is the cause of it.

As for whoever burned Karen and David, I think it has to be one of the people who were discussing the disease. Probably one of the doctors.
