What a disappointing episode, saved only by the last scene between Daryl and Zombie-Merle.
The whole thing made little to no sense. The Merle redemption came out of left field, just so they can hastily justify some Daryl arc across the next episode. Poor writing.
The start of the episode in particular left me infuriated, suddenly Rick has changed his mind, we don't even see this transition. Ok. Rick suddenly wants to trust the Governor, even though he really has no reason to and even says he does not trust the Governor. Ok. Daryl disagrees with this idiotic plan to handover Michonne, then Rick repeats himself a few times and now he agrees. Ok. Rick enlists the one person Michonne would not trust just because he is nasty piece of work (why?). Ok.

This would not happen too early before the finale. It is possible that he will be bit in the next episode, providing even more motive to go crazy, cause yolo right?

Andrea isn't going to die. At least not for awhile.
You're going to see a lot more deaths before Andrea.

Didn't almost cry at Merle getting shot but whatever.. and yeah the writing seems to be getting worse and I find the governors slow progression into madness and almost literal dehumanization was that much worse when he bit off Merle's fingers..

I don't like how they never even addressed the fact of Andrea the entire episode.. but if I could guess at what will happen tomorrow Darryl will go on a psychotic suicidal rampage and kill a lot of people (perhaps the governor) and die then a billion people will freak out because 'everyone loves Darryl'

I don't think Hershel or Daryl are dying anytime soon. Hershel was saved in the beginning of the season and he's too important of a character for them to lose him being the only "Doctor" and Merle just died so they're not losing Daryl right after and anytime soon after. And I still think he should hook up with Carol. I think either Glen or Maggie are going to die because they've had a major part in the past episode so It's kinda expected. And then I believe that Beth has a high chance of dying. But that's really all I can see in the next few episodes. And the Gov. Andrea is too important of a character to die. She's disliked heavily. So of course they're going to keep her.
