I don't see how the Governor was supposed to have survived having a ton of walkers surround and attack him. I know that's what they want the audience to feel - "yep he's dead... omg he's not!!@!" - but it really felt like they just cheated him out of the situation. Also, I'm sick of the Governor's insistence on causing trouble and all his lies; he needs to be killed off already.

Fairly solid episode because it actually had a coherent plot, the writing wasn't fantastic but it was logical unlike most of this season. The characters had clear motives, even if they are still just zombie-bait that I couldn't care less about, the knowledge that quite a few of them are going to die just leaves me feeling nothing at all. I hope they resolve this by developing the characters more in season 4, cause holy **** this show needs these characters to get some personality.
The stakes were never high (Andrea and/or The Governor were never in any danger) but there was some fairly decent points of tension during the Andrea/Governor chase and it was nice to see Philip going fully insane. That whistling.

Predictions for upcoming deaths:
1. Merle
2. Daryl
3. Hershel
4. Beth
5. The Governor

There was a large group but he was not surrounded, merely forced to back up. He is very proficient with a firearm (who isn't in this show, except Tyrese, he's letting the side down) and managed to kill quite a few of them on screen, it is not too far out of reality to believe that he was able to escape.
Until this episode the Governor was very poorly written, at this point he is a manifestation of the world around him and has gone completely off the other end of the scale, in many respects though he is [written to be] incredibly similar to Rick, which is a shame because there is supposed to be some level of juxtaposition there. Don't worry though, he will be dead soon, but not before killing off several of Ricks group.

It looked like the Governor had been completely surrounded by the walkers and they had closed in on him. I think I need to see the scene again, I might not have seen it correctly.

Don't get me wrong, I like the story with the Governor - I'm just ready for him to die :P

I'm not sure why he even backed himself into the corner when Andrea let the walkers through the door. If you remember, both Andrea and the governor walked past the zombie that was stuck on the hook hanging from the ceiling to get to the door. I just wonder why he didn't go back the same way he came, past the zombie on the hook. He even bumped into it while he was backing up lol.
