I haven't watched much of the Commonwealth games but I would like to go and see the huge puppet of a bull that was in the opening ceremony. Its going to be dismantled at the end of the games so I have a limited time to go to Birmingham to see it.
I'm dreading tomorrow because a lot of roads are being closed for the cycling time trials. I live several miles from the route but roads quite close to me are being closed including my main way into the nearest town. I shouldn't need to go shopping tomorrow but if I do I'll have to go in the opposite direction. Fingers crossed people who live close to the cycle route don't need an ambulance, fire engine or the police tomorrow.
