Day 4 after my dog was spayed. She has managed to bypass the cone on her head by using her backleg to scratch at the incision and she now uses the cone to dig even more in my garden. She has been at full energy since the day after her surgery and has been doing all the things she really shouldn't be doing, like jumping and running...

...it is going to be a loooong week of recovery....

And I swear I'm not going to let her know all the pain I have known

Aww. She looks a bit cross. I can almost hear her saying "Take this thing off right now!"
When our cat was spayed she was jumping down off the top of the wardrobe onto our bed within 2 days of the op. :P Luckily she was fine.

The weather HAS been nice the last few days. We took an impromptu roadtrip around/through Wales yesterday.

The countryside is so pretty! AND I got to see some moocows! :D

Her markings just make her look pissed, lol. She was hopping and jumping on me a few minutes later (and ramming that cone into me). And, that is refreshing to know. The vet made it seem like 0 jumping was allowed. And I swear I'm not going to let her know all the pain I have known
