Tennis is great fun! It's good to stay fit too.

I hope you're all having a good time ^_^
Life is like a camera: Just focus on what's important, capture the good times, develop from the negatives, and if things don't work out, take another shot !

I was always seriously rubbish at tennis. We were forced to play it for 3 years at my secondary school and I dropped it as soon as I could in favour of cross-country running (which I really loved) and rowing (which was a killer on my skinny little arms).

I was never any good at tennis but I loved watching it... but that was back in a time when sport still had interesting characters like McEnroe.

Sport's no fun these days, everyone behaves themselves!
While I admire the skills of modern players, they all seem so bland.

I personally really liked volleyball, though I'm really not someone who watches sports. I don't understand them the majority of the time but I might get into Rugby at some lol

My friend came to see me yesterday evening with the news that her husband of 12 years (but been together much longer) casually announced that he'd decided to leave her and go and live in France.

- BOOM -

Just like that.

Two weeks ago he'd accepted early retirement from his work so he's got a nice l'il payout so he's on his toes. No big bust up, no early-warning signs, no sniff of playing away from home .... I assume he'd been planning this for some time whilst carrying on at home as though everything was normal and tickety-boo.

People are weird.
