Not to be a debbie downer, but a lot of extended vacations are going to be permanent.

That being said, I'm still working somehow. They admitted they don't want to lay off or cut hours for some people, because they are worried the people will look elsewhere. I emailed my boss and said I'm in a great financial position and I don't want to "take" from someone who isn't in such a good position (like my coworker who may be sabotaging me per something my boss said, but whatever, she really needs the paycheck more than I do and she has a kid...maybe some grace will change her attitude).

I guess the meeting was about our business being reported as non-essential and there was a brief investigation and we were determined to be essential. And I swear I'm not going to let her know all the pain I have known
