Lol, very good.

Thing is, I lived there for a little short of 2 years and the locals knew exactly what I was saying, no problemo (even though one said I sounded like Jane Birkin - not sure if that is a compliment or not).

Yet on a rare trip to Paris the waiting staff in several establishments failed to understand pretty much everything. Spooky, huh.

Or maybe I picked up too much patois from the local farming community!
