One of our other dogs came from Romania, so they'll have some catching up to do
We scoured all the shelters here and around for about a month but all they seemed to have were dogs that couldn't live with other dogs, or great big dogs, or ones that had "issues" which needed addressing, or large Bull breeds/crosses ... none of those suitable for us.
We just wanted a small, nondescript mutt that could live in peace with our other girls. Where have all the ordinary mongrels gone, we thought? Had to resort to overseas again. But never mind, a dog in need of a home is a dog in need of a home irrespective of where we got it, so I'm happy. I hope she'll be happy too!
I've just got one request for you as a dog owner Fifi. Don't be one of those idiots that lets their dogs roam around unrestrained attacking people and animals.
Every time I have to walk to the store or the bus stop I have to fight my way past this pack of dogs that the owners let roam the streets and try to keep them from biting my ankles off. And I'm 6'5" mind you.
Those things are lucky they can dodge my cane or they might be missing something.
Really hate dog owners who let their dogs roam free like that. Wish there was a way I could make them experience what it's like to be attacked by animals.

Hellnaw !! I've never - and would never - let my dogs out on their own, except in our garden and they can't get out of there, it's like Fort Knox.
I let them off the lead when we're out in the woods and fields but they don't hassle any walkers they meet because they just like people. If the person looks a bit nervous, or has got kids, I call them away and keep them out of the way until we're alone again.
I'll post pics of them all, once NewDog is sorted out

Imagine having a child and having dogs charge you. Then when you pick up the child and stop the dog, the owner just says "oh he/she would never hurt anyone".
We do have leash laws here though, so if one person's dog becomes an issue, we at least have a legal option to end the behavior.
And I swear I'm not going to let her know all the pain I have known
