Here is a safe veggie sausage you can look at...

And if that was not too stressful, here is a nice plate of bangers and mash...

I could probably eat a veggie sausage alright (never tried one).

I did have a nibble on a Richmond pork sausage once - not too bad as it didn't have any lumpy, chewy bits in it.

But those continental sausages with their really huge lumps of ... what is it? Fat. Gristle.
I don't even want to think about it. Salami .... aaaaargh!

Probably not as bad as Brawn though, with it's wibbling jelly-like mucosa.

Funny though, I can eat a pepperoni pizza as long as it's cooked to death.

Sausages in our household is like a treat for the boys - there's nothing healthy about them at all; and they are about the same price for lean mince or steak. So I'd rather buy a descent meat product.
Last year this newish online company who makes up weekly meal packs stating they ate very healthy and each is full of the right nutrients bla, bla, bla anyway on one of there weeks were sausages so I wrote on there website asking how often is sausages part of there weekly meal plan as there is not one ounce of goodness and that sausages are part of the obesity problem. I can't remember there response.
If fat means flavour then I'm ******* delicious!

So much salt in them, although I think in the UK the Government stepped in to legislate something or the other.

One type of sausage in Australia contains almost the same salt content as seawater!
