It's just up for interpretation at this point and whatever mood the mod is at the time. It's ridiculous. Why is moderation even needed at this point? I understand nudity or discussion of illegal activities, etc. but something as innocent as a picture thread or harmless fun (/spam), SO WHAT? It'd probably be better contained instead of continuously locking numerous threads.

the OP clearly stated to post other ads that were effective and discuss them, and although that part was at the bottom of the post and michelle is quite possibly the least articulate person i have ever met, to say "Oh wait we weren't discussing anything anyhow" simply proves one's indifference towards reading or doing their job properly.

Look at the time stamps of the original post and her edit.

The thread was essentially intended to be a place to share effective or humorous marketing tactics and ads, which seems unusual but are actually highly popular topics on other forums; in the US, the biggest sporting event of the year gets around a third of its viewers just for the commercials, so a thread to talk about commercials could easily reach 2k posts if RSOF had any activity.

In most threads that max, the OP gets edited with some frequency. It was last edited nearly 45 minutes prior to being locked, leaving whichever fmod that was (I forget) plenty of time to read that part of the post and glean the intention of the thread.

Basically, Michelle is extremely unintelligent or at least very poor at both the usage and interpretation of words, so it's difficult to understand her at times or have her understand things. Because of that thread being locked there's going to be at least 10 posts/threads across RSOF about "why ddi u lokc my thread?" and really there is no reason, it was locked because fmods don't understand how to deal with people.

There were a few others who used to (~2010) brag about having 50k or 75k, or similar numbers and say they had the highest post count simply because they got those in months and hadn't been on the forums long enough to have seen people with higher numbers from when RSOF was actually active, and I imagine people like that still turn up every so often but I haven't seen any in the past week that I've been posting here

But yet she's constantly whining and crying about wanting maturity and quality content. Way to go sister, leading by example, sure. idk, I think they're both dumb. Michelle has behaved that way for as long as I've known her but actually used to be a lot worse, and has been banned from several forums for the way she behaves. That doesn't change that, at the time the thread was locked, it was completely valid.

And telling others to post links to ads, what? No. youtube would have worked, or post images. Take a screenshot of the article and post to imgur. There was no shortage of alternatives that could have been suggested, it didn't have to be locked
