I think your making a few mistakes in your assumptions.
Good is referred to as an objective, moral choice rather than good being a subjective "works in my favor" sort of deal.
Secondly, I'll nip this in the bud. Your assuming my political stance and that I am American (due to the naming of specific Television hosts that represent ideas from the party you don't like?). Please don't, I find it somewhat insulting that you assume that other people don't have the ability to think outside of a polarized political landscape.
Back to free speech, if there's no line on what is acceptable with free speech. Then propaganda is objectively good and ok, just like the rest of free speech.
But manipulating people through propaganda isn't good, in my opinion.
So there exists a line at which freedom of speech is no longer good. The location of this line is not up to one person alone but the community/country/social group that they exist.
