I am working from home for 2 hours in the morning, so I watch an episode of something every morning. Recently, it has been The 100.

It is full of morally grey situations and I really like how it shows that "there are no good guys", because, frankly, in real life there aren't any true "good guys" either. Given, real life isn't usually as extreme as in the show, but it really exemplifies the idea that everyone's perspective matters and how everyone views a situation is different.

I have made it to the season 5, which is by far my least favorite season. Mostly because Clarke turns into a character that is clearly used solely for theatrics as opposed to making decisions that make sense logically or emotionally.

Has anyone else seen this show?
What was the best decision any of the characters made?
What was the worst?
Who is your favorite character & why?
Who is your least favorite character & why?
And I swear I'm not going to let her know all the pain I have known

Has anyone else seen this show? Yes (obviously)

What was the best decision any of the characters made? Probably when Clarke and Bellamy pulled the switch and killed off the Mountain Men. That was the obvious choice and killed off an entire group that were just gross, imo.

What was the worst? Has to be when Pike and Bellamy kill off the army sent to protect them (love Trikru, too!)

Who is your favorite character & why? Raven and Indra. I like Raven since I am headed into an AI/engineering career path and I just always thought Indra was an extremely strong character.

Who is your least favorite character & why? Murphy & Jasper. Murphy is your stereotypical "loner cool guy" which is obnoxious to me. Jasper really fell apart after his love died.

Lastly, I know the first 5 or so episodes were filled with cringy teen-angst drama. I almost quit watching it (and would have if I wasn't working from home), but I thought it got a lot better after those first episodes.
And I swear I'm not going to let her know all the pain I have known

I trudged my way through the first season and saw a few episodes of the second season. I gave up on it. Parts of it were boring, didn't make sense at times. The weak characters were too weak in comparison to the strong characters. Seems there was an imbalance there. Something else started on another channel and that peaked my interest more.

You're suppose to be working for 2 hours from home? What type of project are you doing? Reviewing reruns? Give me the name of the company you work for, phone number and the name of your Boss. I want to call him/her to tell them what a great job you are doing. ( ;) joking).

My boss is aware and views it as no different than listening to music. And I'm a programmer ;) .

I just like it, because it is more than "good guys good" and "bad guys bad" that is common in a lot of series which ruin a lot of them for me.

I watched the first couple of seasons before losing interest.

Yeah, like everything on tv, it isn't for everyone.

I enjoyed it, but by series 3 the storyline was getting a bit thin, and it just didn't capture my attention any more.

I watched 1.5 episodes of season 1 after reading this thread yesterday afternoon. I feel it's nothing like what real life would be. For starters why send down under 18?? Why is everyone beautiful, model looking people. Why only send down two girls that I could see (I think 1 or 2 died in the capsule on the way down??) and 90 something boys?? In real life if they were 'bad boys' those two girls would not be safe even with a brother looking out for her - one brother, 90+ 'bad boys' irl those 2 girls would have trouble. Most of the 100 want to take of their wrist bands as they want the people above to think they are dead, how are they going to populate with only two girls. Not much through has gone into the reality of this program.
If fat means flavour then I'm ******* delicious!
