I've seen the whole series, and it's certainly got some ups and downs hahaha.
I stopped watching about halfway through Season 3 because it just got too out there for me, but then picked it up again after Season 4... the last two seasons are ESPECIALLY bonkers though.

I really enjoyed it for the most part, but it's definitely a rollercoaster of a show.

I watched 1.5 episodes of season 1 after reading this thread yesterday afternoon. I feel it's nothing like what real life would be. For starters why send down under 18?? Why is everyone beautiful, model looking people. Why only send down two girls that I could see (I think 1 or 2 died in the capsule on the way down??) and 90 something boys?? In real life if they were 'bad boys' those two girls would not be safe even with a brother looking out for her - one brother, 90+ 'bad boys' irl those 2 girls would have trouble. Most of the 100 want to take of their wrist bands as they want the people above to think they are dead, how are they going to populate with only two girls. Not much through has gone into the reality of this program.

Accurate depiction of the first episode. It definitely starts off as a teen drama and is cringey. I think I didn't start liking it until episode 5ish but can totally see why people would drop it after episode 3.
And I swear I'm not going to let her know all the pain I have known

I'm on season 5, the last episode. I don't mind stuff that is out there, though.

I think just the Pike plot in Season 3 irked me, I hated his character so much. But after that it got really interesting.

I know a lot of people aren't huuuge fans of Season 6 and 7, but I really enjoyed them and thought it was a refreshing take :)

Would love to hear your thoughts when you start Season 6!

Honestly, I have put off the last episode of season 5, because Clarke was such a terribly written character in season 5. I'll probably watch a lot of episodes tomorrow and the next day because I am working from home all day as my dog was spayed today. And I swear I'm not going to let her know all the pain I have known

I watched the first 3 seasons on the TV then the other seasons Amazon Prime, I think it only went up to season 5 at the time. I agree it was a bit variable but overall I enjoyed the story. I must check and see if the remaining seasons ( 6 and 7 ) are now available.

@Averia Light - I'll carry on and see how it goes :)

If it isn't for you, it is all good. It isn't for everyone. There are probably a lot of shows other people like that I don't like at all - and they can even be great shows, just they aren't for me.

We don't have Netflix and I don't plan to get it, I already have too many things to distract me from doing the housework. :P
