I've seen the whole series, and it's certainly got some ups and downs hahaha.
I stopped watching about halfway through Season 3 because it just got too out there for me, but then picked it up again after Season 4... the last two seasons are ESPECIALLY bonkers though.
I really enjoyed it for the most part, but it's definitely a rollercoaster of a show.
I'm on season 5, the last episode. I don't mind stuff that is out there, though.
I think just the Pike plot in Season 3 irked me, I hated his character so much. But after that it got really interesting.
I know a lot of people aren't huuuge fans of Season 6 and 7, but I really enjoyed them and thought it was a refreshing take
Would love to hear your thoughts when you start Season 6!
Started season 6. I think I just got done watching the 3rd or 4th episode (The children of Gabriel episode, I think?). You also have to keep in mind that I clean while I watch, so I could miss a lot, haha.
The religious part of it is odd, but not that much different than the Heda following on Earth to me. I understand the major difference is the flame, but I could easily see how the Primes could have something similar as Becca was quite the crafty mofo. The effect of the two suns on the plants is...also a little odd, but I can understand why the writers wanted to make a planet that is so much different than Earth.
What happened to Shaw was unnecessary, though. So far, at least I am not disappointed, haha. The end of season 5 was very good. I'm not sure if it was good enough to make up for the train wreak that was season 5, but hey, at least it is a start! And I swear I'm not going to let her know all the pain I have known
