Anyone like Black Cat? I read the manga and it's one of my all-time favorites, so I'm trying out the anime
No.
By the way, IIRC the anime was supposed to be 50 episodes but got canceled about midway through. So the ending was subsequently botched and completely rushed. There's really no point in watching the anime if you've already read the manga.
The only good thing about that series was the OP.

The concept was interesting. The execution was interesting.
It was rushed.
The animation was average. The music was average, excluding the two OP songs.
The story was very interesting. The second "season" or second half to the first season was rushed.

Is Kill La Kill incredibly similar to Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann or is it interesting enough on it's own to watch? I personally disliked TTGL, just didn't find any of the characters to be interesting whatsoever, and characters are usually what interest me the most, and the interaction between them and others.
Kill la kill was made by the creative directors of TTGL. The animation style is similar as well and even I thought "wait, isn't this TTGL?" at first.
And like TTGL, oppai. Lots and lots of oppai. Even the henshin sequence has a lot of oppai and jiggling things.

Subscribed to Crunchyroll UK, which seems to be decent for streaming anime, especially considering our internet isn't the best. Has anyone actually used it much, and if so, do you think it's worth the monthly fee?

Yeah, I had heard that there was some correlation between TTGL and Kill La Kill, so was expecting it to be pretty similar. Oppai doesn't really interest me too much, but I don't mind it, if it's included in something that is actually good.
