For about a week the other students in my Japanese 101 class didn't discuss the real reason they're here, but then out of the blue the anime conversation started up and all they talked about was shonen and entry level stuff. Who would have thought...

Here's what I remember:
-Bleach
-One Piece
-SnK
-Elfen Lied ("Elfen Lied is soooo amazing like you know that scene in the beginning when she kills everybody?&quot ;)
-FLCL

I just kept my mouth shut since I'm only a confrontational guy on the internet.

PS: I'm now a rule-breaker at forums, don't expect me at F&W section again. Reason would be the lack of actual community. Only thing I can see around is arrogance and stupidity. There is nothing worse than aggressive stupidity.

Hummingbird just screams weeaboo.

I made account on there a few days ago, imported my MAL list, and looked around. Needless to say, I won't be back.

I'd switch to Anime-Planet if it were necessary. I've had that account for months and backup my MAL list there.

2 peoples watching/watched Btooom.... ughh... Well, if you can pass episode 1 then you've fared better than I did. Watching that show felt like someone had opened up my skull and taken a cheese grater to my brain. There's a rant somewhere in the depths of this thread about how painfully stupid the main character seemed to me.

In other news, bored and frustrated by slow download speeds. Watching Toradora again to kill time, forgot how melodramatic this show was.

I wasn't going to say anything about Btooom because it feels like I attack shows too often in my posts. Buuuuuut... since you brought it up... I sat through the entire thing because it was just simply entertaining and had the "so bad it's good" thing going on. The show is basically otaku pandering garbage. A jobless loser that sits on his computer all day and has a beautiful traumatized girl who's in love with him essentially because he's pro at video games to self-insert as. Then it has the nerve to call itself "psychological" when there's nothing psychological about it at all, lololol. Oh yeah, and like you said, the MC is an utter idiot.
